Alabama Insurance Alliance Distributes Over $290,000 to Member Agencies

AIA President Bob Froese recently announced that AIA distributed over $290,000 in profit sharing and overrides to its member agencies as a result of their performance in 2010. “This was an indication of the strength of the alliance, despite a soft market,” stated Froese. “We were proud to distribute these well earned funds at our annual meeting in Birmingham on May 11.  It seems especially fitting to share this type of success with our members despite the challenges of the economy and the marketplace.”
 
Sam Everette, VP of Marketing and Business Development, indicated that AIA continues to accept applications for membership. “Although we welcome all independent agents and those who want to be independent agents, in terms of applying for membership, we continue to be very selective. This approach has traditionally served us well and will continue to serve us well relative to our ongoing success,” stated Everette.
